Neck Rotation Stretch

How to do Neck Rotation Stretch :

1_Starting Position : Straighten your back whether sitting or standing, and keep your shoulders loose. Keep your chin level while gazing straight ahead.

2_Neutral Alignment : Make sure your head is in a neutral posture before starting the rotation, which means your ears should be in line with your shoulders and you shouldn’t be leaning forward or backward.

3_Slow Rotation : Slowly chin-first tilt your head in that direction. Try to imagine bringing your chin up to your shoulder. Do not incline your head up or down; keep your gaze forward.

4_Comfortable Range : Only turn your head as much as is comfortable. There shouldn’t be any discomfort, only a slight strain down the side of your neck. Avoid straining your head into an uncomfortable posture.

5_Hold the Stretch: Once you’ve found a stretch that feels good, stay in that position for 15 to 30 seconds. Throughout the stretch, you may breathe normally.

6_Return to Center: Slowly reposition your head such that it is in a neutral posture in the center.

7_Repetition: Repeat the stretch while adjusting your head to the other side.

8_Frequency: If you have a stiff neck or have spent a lot of time sitting down, you should perform this stretch more than once a day.

What is the benefits of Neck Rotation Stretch:

The neck rotation stretch’s primary goal is to increase your neck’s flexibility and range of motion. This may eventually result in more neck mobility, which will make it simpler to swivel your head in different directions.Neck stiffness is a common complaint, especially for those who work long hours at a desk or engage in other activities that hold the neck in a fixed posture. This stiffness can be reduced and a wider range of motion can be encouraged with the neck rotation stretch.
During the rotation, the neck muscles are gently stretched, which relieves localized stress and stiffness and promotes relaxation.
